Robin Hood

The Solihull Arts Complex presented Robin Hood between Friday 9th December 2011 and Sunday 8th January 2012
.

Malcolm Stent starred in this his 21st pantomime at the Solihull Arts Complex.

Foreword by Malcolm Stent:

Hello everyone and welcome to Sherwood Forest!

Quite a departure for us here at Solihull Arts Complex where normally we stay with the tried and trusted pantomimes ... this year we thought we'd step slightly outside the mould and present our first ever Robin Hood panto. There's no recognised script style or storyline, so we've created our own. I've thoroughly enjoyed my historical research and who knows ... ours might become the new 'traditional' Robin Hood show!

As Robin Hood is a hero of mine, robbing the rich to give to the poor, weaving a tale around him has been great fun and I look forward to playing the role of Friar Tuck (with a haircut and figure like mine who else would I play?).

We hope you'll get behind us with your normal enthusiasm and cheer our merry men and women to the rafters in this, our new Christmas adventure.

Lots of love to you and yours from me and mine.

Malcolm Stent
