The Marilyn Monroe Show

The Marilyn Monroe Show was performed at the Parlure Spiegeltent, as part of the Brighton Festival, 2008.

Performances were staged nightly from 19th to 25th May.

Synopsis:

Join Marilyn, Norma Jeane and Zelda Zonk, her alter ego, as together they relive the memories of the most famous life and death in movies.

Follow their story through gripping drama and wonderful original songs revealing the innocence, ambition and flaws behind the myth.

But who is the real Marilyn? The truth depends on who’s telling it, and eventually the struggle between sensitive Norma Jeane, cynical Zelda and the public icon Marilyn threatens to destroy them all in a way more sad and shocking than any conspiracy theory.
